Stormy-Lou are a proud queer post-punk outfit from Kaurna Yarta, formed in late 2021 and dual-fronted by Alex Flynn Taylor and Mik Stoker. Two very different voices pulling against each other, over a rhythm section that does not let up.
MusicSA showcased them in 2023 as one of the most exciting new acts out of South Australia. Their debut EP ‘See Ya, Love Ya, Bye!’ followed in April 2025 on Swirl Records.
At Marksenfest
Stormy-Lou played Marksenfest 2023 on Saturday 7 October. The festival introduced them as an indie-rock four-piece from South Australia’s mid-coast, “known for their electric performance and heartfelt tracks”. They shared the bill with headliners Rum Jungle, The Kavs, The Max Headroom and Maisie.
